Last week marked our first radio appearance. We were lucky enough to guest program a session of Generation Strange at Radio Fremantle. We had an awesome time picking and discussing a selection of awesome tunes. The selection process proved to be significantly more difficult than we could have anticipated, but we did it, settling on tunes we collectively enjoyed. We'd like to say a big thank you again to local legend and music enthusiast Aden, host of Generation Strange for inviting us on. We had a ball.
Later, on Wednesday evening, we played live on air for the first time as part of The Garage on 89.7fm. We played a new one and an old one in Bespoke and National Task Force. Again, we had a lot of fun doing this and again, we would like to thank Liam, host of The Garage, for having us on the show.
We are lucky to have folks like these two with their passion for local music, providing a platform to support artists and musicians who otherwise would not be heard. Next time you hear someone complain about music not being good anymore, or whining that there is nothing to do in Perth, please point them in the direction of either, preferably both of these fellas and the work that they do, so that they can be schooled.
Liam and Aden (or Dr Strange, as Boogs so affectionately dubbed you) Cheers!
